Long shadows accentuate the deep perspective of this urban view. In the right foreground, two or three moving figures have partially registered in the image and appear as “ghosts” on a promenade of the park.
“X” was a prolific photographer, most active during the 1880s and 1890s. At present, his (or her) identity is not known.
