Lincoln’s Funeral at Columbus, Ohio–1865
A closer look shows Lincoln’s name on the catafalque; a sign proclaiming “Billiard Room” on the building facing the State House; a clock–or perhaps a watchmaker’s trade sign–reading twelve minutes to three; and next to the clock, ghost figures of boys who failed to stay still during the entire exposure.
