The Yacht “America” Sails Into History

Edwin Hale Lincoln (1848-1938) of Massachusetts claimed to be the first person to photograph this legendary sailing ship, for which the America’s Cup is named. Reproduced here from a dazzling hand-tinted platinum print, with Old Glory rippling in the breeze as the swift yacht cuts through the waves in Vineyard Sound. A must-have for every sailing enthusiast. 24 x 30 inches.

The Foreman

His fireman’s helmet identifies his rank, but it’s the wire-rim spectacles and clay pipe in his mouth that give this Brittany Spaniel a real air of authority. Based on a wonderful cabinet card image of about 1888 by the Briggs Studio of Pendleton, Oregon, our deluxe poster is 24″ x 36″ and guaranteed to spread good cheer to the foreman, firefighter, or dog-lover in your life.
