Dr. Paul Bove is Medical Director of the Peripheral Vascular Diagnostic Center and an Attending Vascular Surgeon at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. He is also an Attending Vascular Surgeon on the staff of the Detroit Medical Center, and serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Wayne State University Medical School and as Associate Professor of Surgery at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
Dr. Bove is Board Certified in Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and General Vascular Surgery. He has additional certifications as a Registered Vascular Technologist and as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the Society for Vascular Medicine and Biology.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wayne State University, Dr. Bove received his M.D. from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in 1988. His postgraduate medical training included a General Surgery Residency at William Beaumont Hospital and a Residency in Vascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Bove has presented papers on vascular surgery, critical care, and other topics at more than 40 medical conferences, including the 6th World Congress on Intensive and Critical Care Medicine held in Madrid, Spain. His clinical research has resulted in the publication of more than two dozen articles in medical journals, including a pioneering procedure for treating aneurysms by placing thoracic and aortic stents simultaneously.
